| Colin's birthday dinner was last night. We all had numerous laughs, mostly because of my gift. He didn't even know what it was at first, which was amusing. Then his face when he found out what it was, that added to the amusement. And THEN when I told him that I already used it, his reaction... ahh... that was just priceless. *sigh* We are such sick people sometimes. ^_^ He refused to keep it, mostly because of the fear that his mother would find it. Although, I have a feeling that he would have kept it if that fear was non-existant....
After a lovely dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise, we walked over to Circuit City, since there was nothing else to do that was close by. Madison checked the game section a few hundred times, and proceeded to get annoyed about them not having a game that he wanted. *sigh* He thinks he got annoyed... just think about if I went someplace the day Hypnotize gets released and couldn't find it. I would probably have a heart attack. (But after I recovered, I'd just proceed to another store.)
When we were about to leave, I got a call from Eric. It's been a few months since I heard from him, and last time I checked everything was going good. But, now that apparently everything has "gone to shit", he needs someone to cheer him up again. It somewhat bothers me that he only talks to me when he's upset, but I'm just too nice of a person to tell him to find someone else. I figured my purpose for talking to him had been fufilled when I lost contact with him before, but I guess it's not quite over yet. And I make him laugh, and I always enjoy making people laugh. ^_^
Oh, and would anyone care to go to the maize maze at Belvedere tonight? (If it's even open.) I don't want to miss a year! That would suck. |
